Why is my cat vomiting yellow, not eating, and very sleepy all day?

It sounds as Jixie is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get as it does sound serious, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

There could be several causes of vomiting in your cat - gastritis (inflammation of the stomach wall), pancreatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, intestinal parasites. The vomitus is yellow because it is mostly stomach acid and bile. This is not unusual if the stomach is empty of food when the cat vomits. I would recommend withholding food for 12-24 hours (small amounts of water is ok) and see if the vomiting resolves. It sounds like your cat is having some issues which could be related to the Vietnamese food you fed it last night or cats can get something call triaditis which is inflammation of the pancreas, liver, and small intestine and gallbladder. Because of the frequency of vomiting and the likelihood that its blood that you're seeing in the vomit I recommend your cat see a veterinarian as soon as possible.
