I'm sorry to hear Daxter isn't feeling well. It sounds like he is vomiting up phlegm or bile. Without seeing him it's hard to say. If he cannot keep food and water down or is acting lethargic I recommend taking him to a vet where they can perform a physical exam and figure out the cause of the vomiting. Good luck and kisses to Daxter!

Vomiting is a very vague sign and could indicate several different things going on. Some of the more common causes of vomiting include intestinal parasites, gastritis (inflammation of the stomach wall), pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, or a foreign body/blockage. I would recommend taking Daxter in to the vet. He may be dehydrated and need fluids as well as some antinausea medication to help stop the vomiting. Your vet may also want to run some lab work and take x-rays as well to better determine what is going on. Good luck.
