My cat is sick, coughing, sneezing, and not eating. What should I do?

It is hard to say exactly what the cause of the sneezing and coughing, decreased eating/drinking may be without examining her first. However, it could be an upper respiratory infection (which can be contagious to other cats), due to dental disease or another oral health issue, feline asthma, or certain heart conditions. I would recommend Pickels's see her veterinarian soon for an exam to determine a diagnosis so she can get the proper treated. Her veterinarian may want to take chest x-rays to get a better view of the heart and lungs or suggest other diagnostics as needed. I hope this helps!

It's possible Mineva has something ongoing such as a respiratory infection, kitty asthma, a heart or lung issue, etc so it is good you are bringing her to your vet as soon as you can. In the meantime, keeping her nose and eyes clear of any debris can help make breathing easier, as well as limiting her activity if moving and playing causes an episode. Making sure she is still eating and drinking is also a good idea. If she becomes very painful, has trouble breathing and is in distress, or her gums become very pale or blue, this is a sign the issue is more serious and should be seen by an ER vet or your vet sooner.

It sounds like Tiger may have an upper respiratory infection, However other more concerning problems such as pneumonia or feline asthma are also possibilities. I would encourage you to take him into a bathroom and run the shower to humidify him. Warm up the food to try to encourage his appetite. If he isn’t interested in food then try low sodium chicken broth to encourage fluid intake. You also may want to to contact a house call veterinarian to come to you. This is probably an upper respiratory infection. it's very common in young cats and is very contagious to other cats as well. It is treated with oral antibiotics for about 2 weeks.as he is not eating it is considered an emergency. I advise going to your vet asap to start the treatment right away.

The sneezing could indicate a respiratory infection. There are lots of health reasons for her symptoms and Lilly really should see her veterinarian as soon as possible to have her evaluated and treated. Your veterinarian will do an exam and may recommend additional testing such as blood work or x-rays to pin down a cause so Lilly can get the treatment she needs and start to feel better.
