my cat was having seizures after i applied sergeants topical flea and tick, well his seizures went away after a month and stayed away for one month, but 3 days ago he had a mild one and today he had a huge one and knocked over his food and water and when i went to pick him up afterwards i noticed a wet spot on his chest where a healed wound was that healed from biting himself during a seizure. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Seizures can occur due to many reasons that go from a toxicity, metabolic diseases, inflammatory diseases and even tumors. All these signs you describe could be related to the same thing causing the seizures or it may be a separate issue. I highly recommend that you have him evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible for further assessment and treatment. Diagnostics that will be recommended will include bloodwork and advanced imaging such as an MRI. They would also be able to start him on anti-seizure medications to try to avoid the onset of more seizures. Good luck and have a good night! Hoping for a speedy recovery!
