It could be Shaky is in pain, either from his back or hips. Rest him tonight, keep him indoors if he's allowed outside, and watch him. If he's still acting this way in the morning, have him seen by a vet. Do not give him any human pain medications. Many are toxic to cats, and are fatal if given. Best of luck.

I would be most concerned either a neurologic issue, such as a slipped disc pushing on her spine, or a blood clot lodged in the blood supply for her rear end (called Feline Saddle Thrombosis). I would recommend taking her to a vet ASAP to further evaluation.

It totally can mean that Miley is scared and not sure where she is or what happened. This is the most likely and sensible option. I would confine her to a room with food/water and a litter box. Get things settled and visit with her often. Let her get used to that room. It may take 1-2 days for her to start eating. If she is eating and eliminating normally I do not think she is sick. If she won't eat by day 3, starts vomiting or showing other symptoms have her examined. After a week, if she looks calm and happy open the door and let her explore your new place at her convenience. She has the room as a comfort place. I wish you the best!

I would not be concerned about her twitching a little when you touch her back. Sometimes when cats get happy and excited they seem like they are shaking their back/lower body but it is just the stance that they are in. Without seeing what she is doing it is hard to say if it is something to be concerned about. A lot of times your veterinarian will be willing to look at the video to see if it is something to be seen or not. I would call and see if they will be willing to look at a video on their email (if they have one). Otherwise if she is acting completely normal otherwise I wouldn't worry at this time. She may be scared and upset. When you get to your destination, try to make it feel like home and give her a little space to readjust. Most cats don't like being in a carrier, and travel in general is very stressful for pets. If she is still acting abnormally after a few days, it may be a good idea to have her examined by a vet to make sure there is nothing else going on.

This is an emergency, as your cat could be suffering from a riding thrombus, which is a blood clot that keeps blood flowing from the aorta into the femoral arteries. This is a very painful and life threatening condition. She could also have been a victim of a traffic accident hurting her spinal cord. Please take her to a veterinarian or an emergency room right away. The vet will want to do radiographs and a blood test and your kitty will need treatment depending on the diagnosis today.
