We have a cat that is leaking urine but shows difficulty using litter box. He is tender on both sides by the barrel part of his body just in front of both back knees. He cries when area is touched on both sides. No accident has occurred. Inside house. Cat is 12 tears old.

This is a serious problem and Gooberr should see the vet soon.

He possibly has kidney disease and/or a partial blockage. Both problems can be life threatening and require immediate veterinary treatment in order to prevent further injury.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do for him at home. He needs professional help.

I hope all goes well and Gooberr gets better soon.
