My 11-year-old cat with herpes is puking daily. Is it serious?

It's probably something more serious. chronic vomiting can be caused by various conditions (foreign body, pancreatitis, lymphoma, IBD and more...), you will need to take her to the vet in order to get checked and have a blood test done as a first step to try and find out what is causing this.

With Sasha's age and the consistent vomiting, I am concerned that she may have something systemic going on. Quite commonly I see kidney disease in older cats and this can cause consistent vomiting. There are also other conditions such as GI inflammatory disease that can lead to persistent vomiting like you are seeing. My best recommendation would be to have a veterinarian examine Sasha and have her blood tested to start with. This will help rule out multiple potential causes of what you are seeing. This is very serious, and it could be caused by a severe GI illness, eating something rotten, liver disease, kidney disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, or even cancer. You need to have Sophia seen by a vet today for this problem.

It's certainly possible that vomiting could be due to progression of her kidney disease, but could also be due to a number of other issues such as a simple upset stomach, or some other illness such as hyperthyroidism or pancreatitis. I would recommend taking her back to the vet tomorrow for a recheck, to see what her lab values look like and determine if any new problems have popped up. Your veterinarian can advise you on what should be done in terms of treatment from there.

It sounds as Snoozy is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
