My cat has a head scar and fur gone near eyes. What should I do?

From what I can see, it looks like a small scar. If it's not swollen, has discharge, or feels warmer than the rest of him, I would keep an eye on it. The next time your cat is in for his annual visit, show it to your vet, but it doesn't look like anything to be concerned with from these photos.

I would not do anything to it if it appears to be healing and she doesn't seem bothered by it. Just monitor it and if you notice anything abnormal with it: it opens up, has discharge coming from it, it is swollen, etc then you should get her to a vet as antibiotics may be needed to get it to heal. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It is hard to see the scab in this picture but I can see that Zoey is a cutie! This scab could be due to a mild infection or perhaps some mild traumatic lesion. You can consider just monitoring for now if it is just one. If this gets worse or just does not resolve, have her evaluated by your veterinarian then. I would not recommend any products or treatments yet as this may resolve on its own depending on its severity. Good luck and have a great day!

I'm sorry but those things can't be distinguished between from a photo. It could be from a fight or some other type of injury or it could be from parasites (like fleas). There is no way for me to tell. You are best off taking her to the vet (or have a mobile vet come to you). Regardless of the underlying cause she is going to need some treatment (probably antibiotics at the very minimum). Hope this helps. Best wishes.

That lesions looks pretty quiet. Perhaps Voli had an injury there or the hair regrowth cycle is off. If you are comfortable, you may monitor the area right now. If it gets larger or appears swollen, take him into the vet. Cats rarely get lacrimal duct infections but that lesion is in the area over the duct system. It looks as if this may be a scar or a localized area of hair loss. I agree that it does not look infected. As long as it does not change or bother your cat I would not be worried about it.
