What are these hard lumps on my 1-year-old cat? Are they dangerous?

Thank you for providing a picture of the lump on Beaju's back. It could simply be a wart, but there is always a chance that any lump on a senior cat could be malignant. Same for the lump on his front leg. Any suspicious lumps should be examined by the vet. The vet can perform a test called a fine needle aspirate on it. To do this, the vet sticks a small needle into the lump to get a sample of it's cells, and examines the cells on a slide under a microscope. It's usually painless to the animal, and relatively quick to perform. I would take him into the vet on Monday to have these lumps examined and diagnosed so they can be treated as needed. It will most likely need to be tested by a veterinarian to determine exactly what it is. The lump on the side is concerning if it is painful and growing. At his age an abscess or a hernia are possibilities. I would also recommend getting that examined by a veterinarian so that they know how to treat him. Hello. It is very unlikely that this is cancerous, but what it actually requires is a hands-on examination. My first inclination is the presence of a single fly larva under each swelling. Warble flystrike is a common problem in young cats during the summer. This may also just be what you described, some type of benign cyst, but It is unusual enough that I really recommend letting your vet take a look at this. Please take Sabbath in to have the lump examined. The most common lumps in cats are from infections but those generally are hot and painful. Cats do get masses that can be cancerous so having it examined is best. They can get some cells through a small needle and have it looked at to determine if it needs to be removed. The lump may be benign or an infection which would be nothing to be concerned about but I recommend finding out for sure what it is. It is difficult to determine without actually seeing the lumps. Have your vet take a look at her. Your vet can do a needle aspirate, if needed, to diagnose and then your vet can recommend a treatment plan. She might need an antibiotic or they might need to be removed.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Tummy! Possible causes for a lump are: an abscess, a skin mass, or an internal mass in his belly. If Tummy has lost weight or is having any other change either behaviorally or appetite wise I recommend having him evaluated by your Vet. If the mass and in the skin (not the belly), is soft it is likely an abscess or a cyst. Sine this is a new finding I recommend having him seen by your Vet to be safe.
