Why is my cat breathing hard, has bad breath, and spitting pink liquid?

What a gorgeous cat! I am sorry he is not feeling well. Licking his lips is a sign of nausea. Even though he may not be vomiting today he is showing signs that he is still not feeling well. If he is eating (even small amounts) and drinking water as well as interacting with you, urinating, and defecating than he may be able to wait until Wednesday. Poor Eli! Severe dental disease can certainly cause nosebleeds and nasal discharge, since the roots of some of the upper teeth are connected to the nasal cavity. It's also possible that he has a severe bacterial or fungal infection, a foreign body of some kind stuck in his nose, or even a nasal tumor. I would recommend taking him to the vet as soon as possible to have this checked - he/she can do a thorough oral exam under sedation if needed to help determine the problem and see what needs to be done to treat it.

If Boo is coughing and having trouble breathing, he may have an upper respiratory infection or his symptoms may be caused by another medical condition such as feline asthma. Foul smelling saliva can be related to an oral infection such as a tooth infection or can be related to an upper respiratory infection. I would recommend Boo see his primary care veterinarian for an exam to help diagnose Boo's condition so he can receive the most appropriate treatment. Best wishes to you and Boo!

Poor cat. He is very young to have so many health concerns. Your kitty's symptoms are almost indicative of "shock" symptoms and this is very concerning. Based on the severity of your cats condition I am highly recommending you take him to your vet asap for some blood tests, physical exam and medical intervention at this point to help stabilize him.
