Is my cat a Birman or Burmese? What breed-specific health issues?

Hello. I am sorry that Jagu isn't feeling well. If Jagu isn't growing well it could be that he has a condition in his gut or with his metabolic system. I would suggest you bring him to a vet and have bloodwork done to make sure Jagu doesn't have an underlying disease condition. Also deworming Jagu is a good idea as he could have worms making him not grow well. Flea products might be a good idea as well in case that is the cause of the poor hair coat. Good luck with Jagu.

Cube is adorable. I would recommend taking him to a veterinarian to have him evaluated. He still has kitten fur so his full adult fur has not come in yet, but making sure he is healthy is very important in keeping a beautiful clean, full coat. Prince is just gorgeous! He looks like he has Birman in him with the color point on his face and blue eyes, but he's not long haired like Birmans. He may be a mix with Birman as part of his breed. Give him a cuddle from me please :-)

Here are some symptoms to watch out for in cats, since they are known to hide disease and some extra tips for caring for Muezza. - coughing - decreased appetite - excessive vomiting (more than once a week) - increased urination or drinking - hiding more than normal - lethargy - pale gums - limping Also it is a good idea to get baseline bloodwork ran on Muezza once a year and a physical exam done twice a year to help keep her healthy. Also feeding her a high quality cat food such as Royal Canin, Hill’s Science diet, Evo or Eukanuba are some good ones to consider. Having a water fountain is also a good idea since most cats aren’t big water drinkers and this will help with their bladder and kidney health. When a cat has two different colored eyes, it's known as complete heterochromia. I'm not sure what color eyes Mangu has, but I had a Persian with one blue eye and one yellow eye. This can be found in many other species, including humans, and it's just a genetic variation. Nothing to be concerned about! As for his diet, he needs a cat food. I'm not sure how old he is, and you can take take him into the vet to get an approximation of his age. If he is less than 12 months of age, he will need a kitten formulated food. Should he be over 12 months of age, he will need an adult cat food. Brands I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. I hope this helps!

Merle is gorgeous! I have a male Ragdoll, they are my favorite breed of cats. It may be she isn't purebred Ragdoll, and that's why she is half your other cat's size. I'd have a health check done on her, but I would expect at 8 years of age, if she had a congenital problem causing her to be smaller, there would have been signs of a medical issue a while ago.
