Is my barn plan big enough for 4 horses, 1 pony, and 5 beef steers?

Dog: I personally recommend that they live indoors, it's safer for them inside and they always will be sheltered from the weather. If the dog is kept outdoors, the kennel needs to be big enough that they can stand in it, turn around, lay down, and stretch out as well as move around. There should be a roof on it, and the sides should be made of a metal mesh to allow air flow. Horse: Typically horses are kept in stalls. A 12x12 foot stall is suitable for a 1000+ pound horse. Rabbit: They are kept in hutches or cages, and the minimum recommended living space is is 12 square feet (1.1 square meters) with the addition of a larger area of 32 square feet for exercise. Bird: They are kept in cages, and it should be big enough to allow the bird to fly freely through the cage and have plenty of room for toys and enrichment.

Hello. Miniature horses do not need as much room as you might think. A large backyard might be fine, especially if there are a few trees for shade & some type of structure, such as a lean-to, to get out of bad weather & the wind. Research & make sure there are no potentially toxic shrubs or plants where you might put the mini. You may need to check with local zoning laws to see if this is legal, but I do know folks who have kept minis in their backyards in housing developments. I have 16 minis! I'm sorry but your photos did not come through. But, I can tell you that for one guinea pig the recommended hutch dimensions are: 7.5 square feet cage (minimum), but more is better; generally 30" x 36" is a good size.

Keep an eye on them, and move them into a larger tank if they get significantly larger or you notice signs of fighting or increasing ammonia levels in the tank.

You can but you would need twice the amount than if you used the cattle/horse formulation. The swine Excede is 100mg/ml and the cattle/horse Excede is 200mg/ml . So, a 1,000 pound horse would need 15mls of the cattle/horse Excede but would need 30mls of the swine Excede.

If that is 48", it is not enough. A minimum of 5 foot fencing (6 feet from ground level is preferred) would be recommended. Some hot tape or hot wire would also be recommended to help keep them away. Watch your mare for signs of heat. They can be just as bad, or worse, than stallions when it comes to breeding. You may need to move her to a different paddock or keep her in the barn temporarily.
