Is almond oil safe for cats? Can it help my Bengal's dry nose?

Hi! Is almond oil safe for cats? My bengal cat loves it, he got a few drops when I was applying it on my feet today. I was also wondering if it could help to put the almond oil on his nose because he has a "bengal nose". Vaseline with aloe vera has really made a difference on his nose but he hates it when I apply it to his nose. The almond oil would be a perfect solution, if it works, because he likes it so much. He is 6 months old now. Thank you.

Sweet almond oil is safe for cats to ingest, but any oil can cause diarrhea if ingested in large amounts. My only concern with using Almond oil on his nose is if he really likes it and licks it all off right away then it may not work as well. I will often use Vitamin E (from capsules) for nose problems because it has less smell and animals won't lick it off as quickly. But I hope almond oil works for Askur!

You can use either oil but most likely they will not help much. You can use a product called BioBalm, which I find to work great for areas like the nose. My cat licked shampoo with cedar essential oil. Is it safe for cats?
I did research the name, and I could not find any information about it being toxic to cats. I suspect that if it was causing problems, it would have come up on my veterinary database. However, I am not a big fan of essential oils in cats. They do not tolerate them as well as dogs do. So, I would not use it again in my cats to be on the safe side. I think that they are going to be just fine. If they did start to show irritation - you will need to bathe in Dawn dish soap to get the oil off. Is it safe for my cat to have a little vanilla almond milk sometimes?
Almond milk isn’t toxic, and a small amount would be okay occasionally. Some cats have sensitive stomachs and anything outside of their normal food can cause diarrhea. I also wouldn’t recommend giving any milk with sugar or other sweeteners.

Excessive amounts of any fat (such as coconut oil) can cause diarrhea, but coconut oil is not a problem for cats otherwise. Is coconut oil or tea tree oil safe for my cat's bath or fleas?
I would not recommend coconut oil. This will close the pores of the skin and cause a skin infection. I recommend an over the counter aloe and oatmeal shame. This is going to cause a nice shinny coat. I do understand your diet preference but cats do eat protein in the wild and is needed for there proper growth. However if you have Holly on a proper diet she does not need any type of supplements the normal food is enough. For any type of bug- maybe fleas - I would recommend a topical flea prevention every 30 days. Typically the baths only wash off the fleas but does not prevent them from coming back.

If he ingested small amount of oil and it is definitively pure oil without anything else inside, this ingestion can cause mild to moderate gastrointestinal signs like vomiting and diarrhoea, but nothing else. To give you a specific answer I would need to know the amount ingested (roughly).
