My quail has white poop, isn't eating, and beak shedding. Is she sick?

Balance issues and falling off the perch are not normal behaviors, so if your Quaker is having trouble staying perched, is acting confused, or is unable to eat or drink properly I would seek veterinary care ASAP. Underlying issues such as muscular or neurologic disease, illnesses, infections, nutrient deficiencies, etc can all cause problems like this to happen, so ruling them out is best. Make sure to keep offering him a balanced diet, and if you suspect illness, keep him warm and separated from other birds until you can seek veterinary care.

Without much other info it would be hard to say what is going on. Some organ issues, parasites, and infections can cause whiter stool or urea changes, while feeding too many snacks/changes in diet can change it as well. If this has been ongoing for a while, I would have the affected bird checked out by your vet to rule out any serious health issues.

Not pooping since not eating well. A veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a treatment plan. Providing healthy foods will not likely fix this but is a good long term goal. Giving a warm environment to recovery, 80-85 F range can give some support but is not a treatment. good luck.

A wide variety of chopped vegetables (greens, carrots, etc.) should be offered. Young quail also need a good protein source, so some insects can be utilized. But they usually do not decrease eating, as calories needed to make heat. A darker green stool is often a sign of decreased appetite, increased white and clear urine is increased drinking. Millet is a poor diet as devoid of many vitamins and minerals and is basically the equivalence of potato chips. A wide variety of vegetables is needed, a plant based protein source (beans, legumes, tofu) and avian pellets are recommended. As he is likely ill, a veterinary visit is highly recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Provide heat support 24/7. Good luck.
