Keep your scaly friends warm and cozy with Zoo Med Repticare Ceramic Infrared Heat Emitters. These reptile heat lamps provide your pet with 24-hour non-light emitting warmth, perfect for all types of tropical and desert reptiles. A Repticare ceramic heat lamp can regulate the perfect temperature for your terrarium, keeping pets happy and healthy. Zoo Med Repticare Ceramic Infrared Heat Emitters can increase the inside air temperature of your terrarium 10-20°F above the outside room temperature. Maintaining constant warmth with a ceramic heat lamp is especially important if you have tropical or desert pets that require high temperature environments, including: green iguanas, monitor lizards, tegus, boas and pythons. These reptile heat lamps are also water resistant, making them ideal for pets that need a lot of humidity in their terrarium. Zoo Med Repticare Ceramic Infrared Heat Emitters will warm your pet and habitat more efficiently than many other types of heating devices. These reptile heat lamps give off intense, low wavelength infrared emissions to provide your pet’s muscles with maximum heat penetration. Because the Repticare ceramic heat lamp emits no light, it is ideal for use as a 24-hour heat source in tropical and desert terrariums. Zoo Med heat emitters have an average life of 25,000 hours and can last up to 5 years. The flat-faced design is more efficient than other conical designs and leaves less heat inside the emitter, extending the lifetime of the heating element. The emitter can be used with rheostats or thermostats to regulate heat output (sold separately).
