Also known as Talbots Demoiselle or Palata (Philippines). Damselfish are colorful, hardy and active marine fish well suited for beginning marine aquarists. These close relatives of clownfish are one of the most familiar and recognizable marine fish. TheTalbot's Damsel is a vibrantly colored damsel that is very active in any tank. Although this is a semi-aggressive species, it should not be kept with aggressive tank mates. In the wild, this species is found on its own in coral rich areas near pieces of rubble and coral.
