The Chocolate Chip Starfish is generally a peaceful invertebrate but it is not recommended for reef aquariums as it will eat soft corals, sponges, and shell fish. It is a very popular starfish for fish-only tanks. Although it is a scavenger, it still requires some supplemental food of algae or meaty foods. Never exposeChocolate Chip Starfish to air or house with large crabs, lobsters, Trigger Fish, and Puffer Fish.
