Large Fish Tanks and Aquariums

Although large aquariums can be beautiful, these big fish tanks aren’t just for show. They also provide a healthier environment for your fish, coral, and other underwater plants. Even if you don't currently have many fish, large aquariums offer you the option to add more when you're ready. No matter who’s living in your aquarium, it’s important to make sure that someone is committed to cleaning and feeding its inhabitants. Big fish tanks will require different equipment depending on what plants and animals live inside. For example, large saltwater aquariums with coral will need appropriate lighting and powerheads to simulate an ocean environment.

Aquariums can range in size from a quarter gallon tank to over 100 gallons. You can purchase an aquarium in any size you could think of, but it may have to be custom made. At Petco, we offer aquariums up to 10 gallons, 20 to 39 gallons, and 40 gallons and larger.
