Zoo Med Little Dripper

Drip water system simulates the rainfall in your reptile's natural environment while adding beneficial humidity to his terrarium.

Easy to clean plastic system features adjustable dripper valve and convenient carrying and hanging handle.

A must have for all types of old world chameleons, day geckos, anoles, and tree frogs.

Excellent tool for feeding lorikeets and other nectar eating birds. Also great as a slow delivery system for kalkwasser and other minerals or as a slow feeding system for aquariums.

Application
The following animals will greatly benefit from the use of ZooMed's "The Big Dripper" and "The Little Dripper":
All arboreal type lizards, especially old world chameleons, anoles, hatchling green iguanas, sailfin lizards (hydrosaurus sp), water dragons, true arboreal geckos (all types), tree frogs (all types), arrow frogs, mantellas, and hermit crabs.

Parts list: bottle, cap, dripper assembly (one black valve, one rubber washer, one plastic screw-on nut), one 18" length of vinyl tubing.

The Little Dripper comes with one dripper assembly. The Big Dripper contains two sets. And, Reptisafe Water Conditioner.

Assembly

  1. Insert end of black dripper valve through hole in bottle so control knob is on the outside.
  2. Place the rubber washer over the valve on the inside of the bottle.
  3. Thread the plastic nut on the valve inside the bottle over the washer.
  4. Tighten by turning the portion of the valve on the outside of the bottle while holding the plastic nut in place. Do not overtighten.
  5. Turn valve to off position (arrow pointing horizontal when looking down at top of valve): Fill bottle with water and check valve for leaks.
Note: Add appropriate amount of Reptisafe Water Conditioner to water to remove chlorine and chloramines.
  6. Position the bottle on a shelf above the tank or use the convenient carry handle to hang from a hook or hang from ZooMed's Repti Lamp Stand.
  7. Adjust the flow rate to the desired position. Put a bowl or potted plant below the drip to catch excess water.
  8. Watch your animal enjoy the tropical rain.
Maintenance
ZooMed recommends cleaning your Dripper bottle a minimum of once a month, or more often if needed.

To clean: hand wash with hot water and a mild soap solution. Use a soft sponge.

Once a month ZooMed recommends disinfecting the dripper by adding clean water and a 5% bleach solution (or ZooMed's Wipe Out 2 Cage Furniture Cleaner). Let bottle sit for five minutes with above solution then rinse thoroughly.

Sunlight: When using dripper outside, please keep out of direct sunlight.
