Add five teaspoons of Algae Destroyer Liquid for every 50 gallons of water. Distribute Algae Destroyer evenly. This treatment is normally effective for several weeks. Repeat treatment when algae growth reappears. The best time to use Algae Destroyer Liquid is when the water temperature is low (between April 1 and June 15). Higher temperatures cause rapid decay of weeds and algae, reducing the oxygen content of the water. If water temperature exceeds 75 degrees (F), extra aeration is required to avoid fish stress.
Precaution: Treatment may injure water hyacinths and water lilies. Not recommended for use in water gardens.
