View the temperature and humidity of your reptile's habitat at a glance with the our Thermometer and Humidity Gauges. Easy to read gauges mount on any smooth surface.
Installation Instructions for Thermometer/Humidity Gauge
Locate and clean a small, smooth area inside and near the center of the habitat. Make sure the location is easy to view from the outside. Avoid placing the thermometer directly near heating devices such as hot rocks and heat lamps. Avoid placing the humidity gauge directly near extremely warm or wet areas. Remove the adhesive backing from the back of the thermometer and/or humidity gauge and press firmly in the chosen locations.
Thermometer Gauge
If using two thermometers, place one near the warmest area where animals may bask. Place the second thermometer near the coolest area of the habitat.
Humidity Gauge
The natural habitats for your pets provide great clues to their humidity needs. Desert animals require very low humidity and tropical animals require very high humidity.
Frequent misting and available water supply, open to the habitat, help maintain a tropical environment.
Good ventilation and smaller enclosed water supply will help maintain a drier desert-like environment.
