Directions for Most Effective Use and Maintenance
Pour Cat Country to a depth of two to three inches in your litter box. Sound your cat be extremely finicky about change, put an inch of Cat Country under your current brand and let your cat gradually convert to Cat Country.
- Cats need and enjoy a clean box so maintaining the box daily or every other day is beneficial.
- Remove solid waste and flush. Cat Country is flushable.
- To remove the product which as absorbed urine, simply tip box slightly and rake the dry top pellets to one side of the box. Underneath you will find a mat-like material. Run your scoop or spatula along the bottom of the box, scoop out the mat, and flush. Top the box the opposite direction and repeat the same procedure. Now you essentially have a clean box. Add some fresh Cat Country if the level in your box is below the two to three inch level.
- Depending on the number of cats using a box, a total change and disinfection of the litter box should be done every two to four weeks.
