Monthly changes of Clear Free cartridges and approximately 20% of the water, siphoned from the bottom of the aquarium, are recommended for a clean, healthy environment. Temporary cloudiness may occur due to fine particles found in high quality activated carbon and zeolites. This can be easily avoided by rinsing cartridge under tap water before placing in filter.
