- The swivel snaps on this tieout are made of forged iron, which is much stronger than zinc or brass snaps. It is normal for iron to develop a surface oxidation (rust) when exposed to the environment. This oxidation does not affect the superior strength of these snaps. A few drops of oil on the snaps will keep them working smoothly.
- Aggressive or vicious dogs should not be left unsupervised.
- The tieout cable is a safety device. It is not to be used as a restraining device.
Warning: Do not use this Tieout Cable with choke-type collars. Never use this Tieout Cable near or around obstacles in which your pet can become entangled. Keep your hands/extremities clear of the Tieout Cable in case your pet lunges. Not all pets can be cabled effectively - owner supervision and judgment are required.
