This accurate and easy to read thermometer is an inexpensive yet essential part of any reptile or amphibian terrarium. To get the most accurate temperature range inside your terrarium place a PETCO Hi-Range Thermometer in the warmest part of your terrarium and a second in the coolest area of the habitat.
Locate and clean a small, smooth area inside and near center of habitat. Make sure the location is easy to view from the outside. Avoid placing the thermometer directly near heating devices such as hot rocks and heat lamps. Remove adhesive backing from back of the thermometer and press firmly in the chosen location.
