  2. The swivel snaps on this tieout are made of forged iron, which is much stronger than zinc or brass snaps. It is normal for iron to develop a surface oxidation (rust) when exposed to the environment. This oxidation does not affect the superior strength of these snaps. A few drops of oil on the snaps will keep them working smoothly.
  3. Aggressive or vicious dogs should not be left unsupervised.
  4. The tieout cable is a safety device. It is not to be used as a restraining device.
