This handsome nickel plated whistle features cap which covers whistle when not in use. Cap is attached to whistle with generous chain which also makes it easy to carry while walking your dog. Rings on either end allow you to attach to keyring.
To adjust this whistle to your dog's frequency, perform the following steps while your dog is sleeping:- Blow the whistle and slowly turn the screw ring.
- Keep turning the ring until your dog perks its ears and picks up its head. The whistle is now tuned to the proper frequency for the training of your dog.
Please Note: When blown, the silent dog whistle is not completely silent to humans as the whistle also emits a high frequency sound which dogs can hear but which the average human cannot hear. Follow instructions on the package to tune the whistle to your dog's frequency. Once tuned to your dog, the whistle does not have to be blown hard in order for your dog to hear it, even at great distance. The portion of the sound being emitted from the whistle which an average human cannot hear is the "silent" portion of this whistle's name.
