Four Paws Extra Wide Wood Slat Gate

This varnished wood gate covers openings up to eight feet wide to keep your pet in or out of the areas you choose.

Hardware Included:

• 4 short eye screws
• 4 long eye screws
• 2 carriage bolts
• 2 barrel nuts

Installation Instructions

1. Open up the gate and place in the entranceway ensuring that is the correct size. Mark the positions of the eye screws in the opening of the entrance, with the lower eye screws being 4" above the floor and the upper eye screws being 20" above the floor.
2. The short eye screws are to be used for wood or metal openings. The long eye screws are to be used for drywall or plaster openings. When installing the eye screws, make sure they anchor firmly into the wall. Also make sure the long eye screws don't extend more than 3/4 of an inch out. Any unused hardware may be at your disposal.
3. Using the carriage bolts and nuts, connect the two gate sections.
4. Position gate in opening.
5. Attach the spring loaded latches to the eye screws.
6. On opposite side lift gate and insert hook in the lower eye screw then attach spring loaded eye latch to the top eye screw.
7. To keep center panels from moving, secure the safety strap.
8. To open, unlock the spring-loaded latch, lift gate, and swing out.
9. Gate can easily be removed by unlocking all spring loaded latches.

• Do not leave child unattended.
• Gate recommended for children between the ages of six to 24 months.
• Do not use with child able to climb or open a gate.
• Do not place at top of stairs.
• Follow installation instructions.
