Directions: Use one tab for every 50 square inches of gravel surface area. To calculate gravel surface area: length in inches x width in inches + square inches divided by 50 = number of tabs needed. Example: ten gallon tank measures 20" length x 10" width = 200 sq. in./50 = 4 tabs. Insert each tab into aquarium gravel approximately four to five inches apart or near clusters of aquarium plants. You can use additional tabs in heavily planted tanks.
