If other food items are fed, ensure that at least 80% of the food the bird actually consumes is ZuPreem AvianMaintenance. Supplementation of ZuPreem AvianMaintenance with vitamin or mineral supplements is not recommended and may be harmful to your bird's health. ZuPreem AvianMaintenance is designed to be fed free choice. Ensure that your bird always has food in its cup, and that it always has a source of fresh clean water. A typical bird's food consumption will be approximately 20% of its body weight per day, but feed the diet to maintain good body mass avoiding thinness or obesity. If the diet is moistened or becomes wet, make sure that the moist diet remains in the cage no longer than four hours.
