Paperback, 220 pages, copyright 2000.About the Author: So, who made Rick Beauchamp the know-all Dog Tsar? In a word (well, two words), no one. Nor is anything in this book divinely inspired. According to Rick, any and all useful information in Boxers for Dummies is here because it was passed down to him by his mentors in purebred dogs or through good old-fashioned trial and error.
Over the past half century, Rick has experience and enjoyed nearly every facet of purebred dogs--breeding, exhibiting, professional handling, publishing, writing, lecturing, and judging. He has had the good fortune to have bred more than 100 champions and noted dog show winners under his Beau Monde kennel prefix in a number of different breeds, including his special pals--Boxers.
Rick's judging assignments have taken him to practically every major dog-showing country in the world, and this has given him the opportunity to judge Boxers in most every instance. He now judges for the American Kennel Club and the United Kennel Club in the United States.
