Dogs bring much joy and love to their households, but pet parents must also deal with their pet’s waste. Fortunately, the Doggie Dooley Pet Waste Disposal System was created to make outdoor dog waste disposal easy, convenient and safe.
The Doggie Dooley Pet Waste Disposal System works like a miniature septic tank. It utilizes natural bacteria and enzyme cultures to reduce dog waste into a liquid that can be safely absorbed into the ground. The dog waste disposal system is easy to set up. Refer to the manufacturer instructions for the best and safest installation practices.
Essentially, you start by digging a hole in your yard and drop in the Doggie Dooley plastic septic tank or the steel version of the tank. Bury the tank up to the lid. Add water and the included Digester Powder, and the system is ready to go. When your dog is finished with business, scoop up the waste and drop it into the septic tank using the foot operated lid opener. The bacteria and enzymes will do the rest, breaking down the waste into a liquid.
The Doggie Dooley Pet Waste Disposal System is neat, clean and safe for your lawn and shrubs. The Digester Powder is a non-toxic mixture designed specifically for dog waste disposal. The Doggie Dooley plastic septic tank or steel tank is a convenient way to get rid of unsightly waste and eliminate odors. The result is a clean lawn that you can walk through without worry.
This system is also environmentally conscious. It breaks down pet wastes in a natural way. The Doggie Dooley plastic septic tank is constructed from durable, rust-proof plastic. The steel version of the tank is also made to last. Just make sure to occasionally add water and the Digester Powder, and your Doggies Dooley System should keep on working. This system comes with a starter supply of Digester Powder. Refills are sold separately.
The less time you spend cleaning up waste, the more time you can spend with your playful pet!
How Do I Install The Doggie Dooley?
Select a site away from the house. It is recommended the location should be reached by a garden hose.
Dig a round hole 48" deep by 14" in diameter. Use a post hole digger, if possible; otherwise, use a garden spade.
Drop the Doggie Dooley into the ground hole. Shoulder flange should rest firmly on ground level.
The unit requires normal ground drainage. Do not dig in a clay area. Find a location in your yard with minimum clay content in the soil.
Using The Doggie Dooley
Fill the tank with about four gallons of water mixed with two tablespoons of digester.
Drop dog waste into tank as soon as possible after filling with water. Dog waste should be added daily along with a quart of water. Adding water is very important and will keep the unit working properly. Water should overflow into the bottom of the hole when added to the unit.
Add Waste Terminator Digester (one tablespoon) Weekly
If you have not used Doggie Dooley for a period of two weeks, it will be necessary to repeat the above start up procedure.
What Is Waste Terminator Digester?
The unit is packed with the improved Waste Terminator Digester. Each tablespoon contains billions of patented bacterial and enzyme cultures that double every 20 to 30 minutes.
Waste Terminator is the fastest, toughest enzyme to use in your Dooley. It is the only digester recommended for use in the Doggie Dooley.
Can I Use The Doggie Dooley In The Winter?
When the temperature drops to 40°F the Doggie Dooley will no longer break down waste. It is not necessary to empty the unit for the winter season. Simply do not add stools, Digester, or water. Follow the start up directions to activate the unit in the spring.
Keep out of reach of children.
If your pet consumes some of the Digester, give them plenty of water to drink. The Digester is non-toxic.
