Multiple Rows of Stitching:
Each toy's three layers of material are sewn together with two rows of linear stitching and two rows of cross stitching. Those four rows of stitching are protected with an industrial grade luggage material that are sewn three more times!

Three Layers of Material:
One layer of 600 Denier industrial grade material, one layer of plastic coating and finally one layer of soft fleece. All three layers are rolled together and then sewn together four times in a one inch cross pattern to prevent layer separation.

Protective Webbing:
Additional industrial grade luggage material is sewn around the outside edge with three rows of stitching to cover and protect the first four rows of stitching.

Squeaker Safety Pockets:
Each squeaker is safe and quiet because they are sewn into a nylon safety pocket beneath three other layers of material.

Tuff Scale System:
VIP Products designed a Tuff Scale system ranging from 1-10 (with 10 being the toughest) to give you insight as to how tough their toys are compared against those from competitors.

Care Instructions:

Wash your Tuffy's pet toy by spot cleaning soiled areas. Tuffy's toys are also machine washable, but DO NOT machine dry.

Over time this toy will start to show wear. As your pet plays with the toy your pet will begin to break down the different layers of the toy and may loosen or remove pieces. This is normal. Remove loose threads to avoid ingestion. If your pet reaches the white stuffed core of the toy discard immediately.

The squeakers are attached to the toy with protective pouches. This feature provides a safe window to remove the toy from your pet should it reach the core. Do not let your pet play with this toy unsupervised, and do not allow your pet to remove or ingest any part of the toy including squeakers. Injury may result.
