Zebra Finches

Zebra Finches are adorable little companions that are best kept in pairs or small groups. They prefer not to be handled, but that does not take away from their appeal! Zebra finches have a quiet, pleasant chirp and are easy to care for. They are available in a number of color mutations and males sport bright, orange cheeks. Since finches enjoy flying, they should have a flight cage that is longer than it is tall. A habitat that is at least 24" x 18" is recommended. Provide a variety of toys and swings in addition to a place for them to bathe. The gentle nature of zebra finches is sure to brighten your day!
