Quaker Parakeets

Quakers are friendly, intelligent birds with gregarious personalities. In nature, they are found in groups. However, being hand-fed, they now see humans as their family and readily accept you into their group. They thrive on human interaction and are quick to mimic sounds and words. Quakers require a habitat that is at least 30" x 30". Their intelligence requires a lot of mental stimulation to prevent boredom and feather plucking. A variety of toys and daily interaction with their pet parent will keep quakers happy and healthy!
