Directions For Use: Use one teaspoon (five ml) of AmQuel+ per each ten gallons of fresh or salt water. Five ml of AmQuel+ will remove on average more than 1.2 ppm of Ammonia, 2 ppm of nitrite, and 13 ppm of nitrate as well as detoxify all chlorine or chloramines. Increase or repeat dosages as needed to remove greater amounts of these toxins without adverse effects to animals or plants.
AmQuel+ will not harm biological filter beds or interfere with their activity.
AmQuel+ can reduce medication dyes such as malachite green, methylene blue and potassium permanganate.
AmQuel+ is compatible with all nitrite and nitrate test kits, and ammonia test kits using salicylate reagents such as Kordon's AquaTru. Do not use an ammonia kit based on nessler reagents.
To fully condition water, AmQuel+ should be used with Kordon's NovAqua. NovAqua provides a protective skin coat to fish, detoxifies heavy metals and adds electrolytes to ease stress.
AmQuel is not a medication and is not intended to be a substitute for any chemotherapeutic agent.
