About the Author: Eve Adamson has been a Dachshund fan since childhood and a regular writer for Dog Fancy magazine, specializing in breed profiles, for the past five years. Eve also writes for many other dog and pet magazines, including Dogs USA, Puppies USA, and the "Dachshunds" and "Training and Behavior" issues of the Popular Dogs series. She received her MFA from the University of Florida and is a member of the Dog Writer's Association of America.
