The PETCO Contour Dog Litter Pan is equally effective for male & female puppies and adult dogs and is the solution to your housetraining problems. With the low front profile, our pan is also great for senior dogs.

Small Size Dimensions: 14.5"L X 22"W X 5"H, suitable for dogs up to 6 lbs.
Medium Size Dimensions: 24"L X 22"W X 5"H, suitable for dogs 6-15 lbs.
Three Simple Steps to Success:Step 1: Getting Set Up:
- Make sure you set up the litter pan as close to an active part of the house as possible, so your pet will want to use it.
- Add enough litter to the bottom of the pan to reach 1" deep.
- Allow at least 3 feet of distance between the pan and any bedding, food or water.
Step 2: Teaching Your Pet To Use The Pan:
- Have a set feeding schedule. Feed your pet at the same time every day.
- After eating, but before playtime, set your pet to use the pan.
- Praise your pet whenever they use the pan successfully.
Step 3: Successful Pan Usage:
- Until they are trained completely, when your pet is left alone it is best to confine them to a gated area or large crate with the pan enclosed with them.
Tips To Ensure Successful Training: Praise & Reward
- Always use positive reinforcement around the pan, never negative.
- Your pet wants to please you, so always praise him with encouraging words and/or treats when he uses the pan correctly.
- Place a small of your pet's waste into the pan so he can learn what it is used for.
