Clumping litter can get, well, clumpy and can become like concrete! Plastic scoops tend to either bend and flick soiled litter all over the floor or just break. Existing metal scoops aren't the answer either since the ones currently available are too small for large clumps, don't have good handles and, in time, corrode and break.
The DuraScoop is a real tool pure and simple. The non-corrosive all steel construction enables you to easily remove large clumps and clean the litter box vigorously (really scrape the sides and bottom). In addition, it makes a nasty job less nasty! In fact, it should be considered a "sifting shovel" rather than a litter scoop, since that's what it is — a light weight hand shovel with slots.
