Our Zilla Floating Basking Platforms are a natural looking way to provide your aquatic reptile the perfect basking spot. With the look and texture of natural river rock, these platforms secure to the inside of your aquarium with suction cups so your pet can safely bask out of the water. Stepped sides make it easy for turtles, newts, salamanders and frogs to climb up onto the self-leveling platform. Basking is a natural behaviour that helps reptiles regulate body temperature and exposes them to beneficial light.
Instructions:
- Fill terrarium to preferred water level.
- Slide one of the suction cups to the bottom center of the U shape bracket.
- Insert both upward ends of the U shaped bracket through floating basking platform holders.
- Slide remaining two suction cups onto the top ends of the bracket (one on each side).
- Attach bracket and platform to aquarium wall with suction cups.
- The bracket should be positioned so that the platform floats midway between the top and bottom of the bracket.
To Clean:
Use warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
