Zoo Med's new Natural Box Turtle Food with added vitamins and minerals contains the correct fiber, protein, and calcium levels for normal growth and proper shell development. This Box Turtle food contains small amounts of papaya and mango as well as animal protein necessary to meet the unique dietary requirements of Box Turtles. It also contains a variety of nutritious plants that your Box Turtles will love! In addition, our food contains no artificial colors, flavorings or preservatives.
Moisten pellets with water to stimulate feeding behavior and create a flavorful mash that turtles love. If your turtle is not used to eating pellets, thoroughly mix small amounts of lettuce, fruits and insects into the moistened food. Zoo Med's Can O' products (worms or snails), sold separately, are enjoyed by turtles and can be offered occasionally.Always provide clean drinking water. Store unused food in a cool, dry area.
