Unlike most Triggerfish, the Pink-Tail Trigger is a less aggressive species compared to other Triggers. This makes it a great choice for the beginning aquarist that wants to try a larger, more aggressive fish. Also, the Pink-Tail is less likely to rearrange the substrate and rocks within a tank compared to other Triggerfish species. This fish can also be kept in some reef tanks, but is guaranteed to eat all smaller fish and crustaceans, including ornamental crabs and shrimp.
