The Nassarius Snail is a wonderful scavenger that works great to clean a tank of detritus. It also burrows into the sand using its siphon to search for food and aerates the substrate due to its movement. As with all snails, the Nassarius Snail is highly sensitive to copper based medications and high levels of nitrate.

Turbo Snail One of the more popular algae grazing snails, this reef-safe gastropod is quite a bit larger than other algae snails. Shaped like a turban or a top, the Turbo Snail needs sufficient calcium levels to help build its shell. As with many other invertebrates, the Turbo Snail is extremely sensitive to changes in water quality. The Turbo Snail will not tolerate copper, nor will it survive in conditions with high nitrate levels. Drip acclimation is highly recommended when introducing this species to its new home.

Coral Banded Shrimp The Coral Banded Shrimp is probably the most widely distributed marine shrimp in the fish industry. It is also known as a "Banded Boxer Shrimp" due to the way the shrimp holds up its claws in the same manner as a boxer would. This shrimp will eat any food given to it, and is an excellent addition to a reef tank. However, the Coral Banded shrimp should only be kept singly as they are territorial towards others of its own species, as well as smaller shrimp of other species. As with all marine shrimp, iodine is needed for molting, as well as having a vast number of hiding places. It must have enough room to move around without its 2 to 3 inch antannae brushing against anemones or corals. The Coral Banded Shrimp will not tolerate any copper or high nitrates in the water, so please ensure water quality is pristine. Drip acclimation is highly recommended due to its sensitivity to water quality changes.
