Cuban Hogfish
The Cuban Hogfish needs plenty of room to swim and is ideal for a beginner with a large tank exceeding 100 gallons in size. While this fish is generally safe with almost every tankmate, the Cuban Hogfish will eat crustaceans as they are part of its natural diet. Also, during feeding, the Cuban Hogfish may scare off smaller tankmates due to its voracious appetite.
Needs a variety of meaty foods including mysis shrimp, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, squid, snails, worms, and krill.
