Kent Marine Tech CB Part A & B is an ionically balanced, complete calcium and alkalinity control regimen for all marine aquariums. When A & B are used together they will raise both the calcium and buffer levels in the system. This product is simple to apply and ideal for hobbyists seeking a low-maintenance solution to managing calcium and alkalinity levels. Tech Part B, sold separately.
Caution: Not for human consumption. Do not taste, swallow or breathe. Avoid contact with skin as it may cause irritation. If in eyes, immediately flush with water for 15 minutes. If ingested, drink water and call a physician immediately! Do not mix with household chemicals.Shake well before use. Add 10 mL (2 tsp) per 40 gallons of aquarium water in a high flow area. Repeat daily until target calcium level is reached. Add equal amounts of part A & B until target alkalinity is reached. Some cloudiness may be observed, but will dissipate rapidly. Do not exceed dosing of 1/2 mL of this product per gallon in a 12-hour period. Recommended to dose in morning to prevent overshoot of pH. Never mix part A & B directly together--add to aquarium separately.
If you are having trouble maintaining calcium or buffer levels, check to see that the salt mix you are using contains natural seawater levels of magnesium. Magnesium is necessary and low levels result in poor calcium solubility and buffering.
