Powerful odor-absorbing Carbon Filters prevent escape of strong odors from the Disposable Waste Receptacle of your LitterMaid cat litter box, so your cat's area stays cleaner and fresher.

Each Carbon Filter is individually wrapped to maintain maximum odor-absorbing power until you're ready to use it. And, they're so easy to use--just peel of the paper strip to expose the adhesive, then place adhesive-side down inside the cover of the Disposable Waste Receptacle Lid.

The Carbon Filter continuously absorbs odors while the Disposable Waste Receptacle is in use, and it's conveniently discarded along with the filled Waste Receptacle.

Important: You will need one waste receptacle and one lid for each installation.

To Install Waste Receptacle

1. Insert Waste Receptacle into disposal area of the unit.
2. Be sure that the two notched corners on the bottom of the Waste Receptacle rests on the horizontal posts of the unit.
3. Slip the edge of the Waste Receptacle underneath the ridged tabs of the unit, making sure it snaps in place securely.

1. Lift the waste compartment cover and position the Waste Receptacle lid with its two round fasteners extending downward.
2. Insert the two raised areas into the two round openings in the Waste Receptacle compartment cover.
3. Push each raised area of the lid into its corresponding opening.
4. Close cover.

1. Depress the two raised areas extending through the openings in the compartment cover.
2. Detach the Waste Receptacle lid from the cover of the Waste Receptacle compartment.
3. Lift the compartment cover, exposing the closed Waste Receptacle assembly.
4. Pull the Waste Receptacle compartment cover edge free from the tabs holding it in place and lift out.
5. To dispose of the Waste Receptacle compartment cover, press in on the four corners of the lid to secure lid to the Waste Receptacle and dispose.

LitterMaid Box Carpet Directions:

1. Place carpet on the floor with the fabric side up.
2. Position the LitterMaid Self-Cleaning Litter Box on top of the carpet.

• Sweep the carpet with a broom or use a vacuum to remove dust, loose particles and cat hair.
• Carpet may be rinsed with water.
• Hang carpet to dry.
• Should small stains occur, moisten a sponge with a mild detergent and cold water. Wipe to clean.
