Kordon pH Decrease
 
Aquarium water can fluctuate up or down due to biological and/or chemical activity within the aquarium. Using Kordon pH Increase to bring the pH up to a desired level, or Kordon pH Decrease to lower pH helps aquarists manage their aquarium's pH levels quickly and accurately. For best results it is recommended that Kordon pH 7.0 Freshwater: For Goldfish, Koi and Community Fish, pH 7.5 Brackish water: For Scats, Puffers, Monos, Mollies and Cichlids or pH 8.2 Saltwater: For all Saltwater Fish and African Rift Lake Cichlids Stabilizer products be used following treatment with either pH Increase or pH Decrease for complete pH water control. PH Stabilizer products sold separately. Each bottle treats 2,800 gallons.
Caution: For aquarium use only. Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes or mouth. Store in a cool, dry place.

Contains 15% citric acid. Harmful if swallowed. In case of skin or eye contact, flush with water for 15 minutes and get medical attention. If ingested, call a physician or poison control immediately.

After verifying current pH level, use pH Decrease to lower pH to desired number. Add 4 drops per gallon of aquarium water.

Wait 15 minutes and test the water to verify the results. Add another dose as needed. Continue to gradually dose the aquarium until desired pH level is reached.

Some fish are sensitive to pH changes so adjustments may need to be limited to no more than 0.2 pH at a time in any 24 hour period.

The pH of an aquarium can fluctuate up and down due to biological and/or chemical activity within the aquarium. Often the pH of a new system tends to measure at a higher pH value (above 7.0) and frequently drops (below 7.0) as the system ages.
