The Cat Fanciers' Association CFA Professional Strength Stain & Odor Remover was specially formulated to clean up after cat "accidents" such as cat urine odors, cat urine stains, cat hairballs, cat feces and more. You can safely use CFA Stain & Odor Remover on any water safe surface. Try it on carpets, upholstery, clothing, cages, litter boxes, pet living and sleeping areas, tile, concrete or brick. CFA Stain & Odor Remover is non toxic, pet and child safe.
Use CFA Stain & Odor Remover before using any other chemical cleaner as other chemicals may set stains and make CFA Stain & Odor Remover much less effective.Shake bottle well before use. Test for color fastness by applying CFA to a hidden area to make sure carpet, fabric or garment is color fast. If colors run or fabric water spots, do not use. CFA is safe for use on any water-safe surface.
Always use CFA full strength.
For deep down urine odors in carpets, carpet pads, upholstery, mattresses, auto upholstery, etc. make sure you THOROUGHLY SOAK the affected area with CFA. Then, leave the treated area wet and let it air dry. Odors will fade as CFA dries.
To remove stains, wipe up as much of the stain as possible then saturate the stain with CFA. Let CFA work for 5 minutes then blot away stain with a clean white cloth. Older stains may have to be soaked for one hour or more for complete stain removal.
As a laundry pre-wash: Pour onto stain. Allow to work for 5 minutes then wash as usual. To boost your laundry detergent, add one cup of stain & odor remover to your regular wash load.
For carpet cleaning machines: pre-treat heavily soiled areas and urine odors at full strength following directions for stain & odor removal. Add 16 oz. to one gallon of water in your carpet cleaning machine.
