Directions- Fill litter box with four inches of Swheat Scoop. Larger boxes may require two bags to get started. If you mix Swheat Scoop with clay litter during a change over, please do not flush product until you are using 100% wheat litter.
- Scoop everyday. Households with multiple cats require frequent cleaning. See disposal instructions.
- Refill as necessary to maintain a four inch level which prevents clumps from sticking to the bottom of the litter box. Please use a five inch level for multiple cats and larger breeds of cats.
Hint: Use a piece of household wax paper on the bottom of the litter pan to prevent clumps from sticking to the pan, or spray the pan with a non-stick cooking spray or spread a handful or two of baking soda on the bottom before filling.As with any litter, always wash hands thoroughly after scooping. Pregnant women should avoid any litter box maintenance.
Disposal
- Break large clumps into smaller pieces.
- Let clumps older than 24 hours soak in the toilet prior to flushing.
- Do not overload toilet with clumps and solid waste before flushing.
- Whether you flush or use the garbage, Swheat Scoop is completely biodegradable and will not fill landfill space.
- To dispose of clumps and solid waste in the garbage, please use a closed biodegradable container or bag.
