Odonus Niger Trigger (aka Redtooth Triggerfish)
Also known as the Redtooth Triggerfish, this "extra-terrestrial" looking species is known for its oddly shaped body, as well as its dark blue/purple body color and red "teeth". Niger Triggers enjoy rocky structures with crevices to hide in. As with other trigger fish, the dorsal spine and second spine "trigger" lock itself into a hole or crevice. Like other Triggerfish, Niger Triggers have a personality that some compare to canines. Will pick on corals and other inverts.
